Both are stainless steel grades used in exhaust fabrication. 201ss is a cost-effective option with good strength and moderate corrosion resistance — ideal for standard exhaust builds and budget-conscious projects. 304ss offers superior corrosion resistance and heat tolerance, making it the go-to choice for marine, motorsport, and high-performance applications where longevity matters most.

Most of our bends, straight pipe, and flex pipe are manufactured with a 1.5mm wall thickness. We also stock select products in 2mm wall thickness for heavy-duty applications — including 85mm, 114mm, and 127mm bends in both steel grades.

What are flex pipes used for?

Flex pipes absorb vibration and movement between the engine and the exhaust system, preventing cracking and fatigue. We stock interlock with braided outer flex pipes in 100mm, 150mm, and 200mm lengths, plus netted outer versions for larger diameters (101mm–127mm). We also carry 2-meter interlocking flex for custom routing.
